Friday 11th July 2014

Rain! We woke to the sound of rain on the roof. We are sure that this was not forecast. However it cleared up by about 10am and we set off for Weedon Bec. We went for a walk around the village which seems to have two centres, an old and a new part plus an enormous former military depot.
We found a lovely quilting shop ' The Bramble Patch'

This passion fruit flower caught my eye.

As did this very old window where the glass is bent and curved.

Even the village signpost was - colourful.

After lunch we visited Bugbrooke. By now the sun had come out and we had a lovely walk round the village. Unfortunately this beautiful church had closed for the day.

Alan and Chris have had T shirts printed for Graham and me and also for any visiting crew members. They are great and we are so pleased that the sun came out so that we could take some photos.

Everyone will certainly know which boat we are from!
