The weather forecast for today said " Summer will arrive" and it did but not until the afternoon. It was still quite windy but warm and sunny. We cruised through Fradley Junction which is a famous spot on the network. It is usually very busy with tourists but today it was quiet although we were still in a queue for each lock which certainly adds to the time.

The engine sounds quieter than last year. Must be due to Graham's excellent servicing!

A complete mix of scenery today. Woodlands, fields and industry all in close proximity.

We also had uninvited guests for dinner after we had moored for the night.
